Passive Range of Motion

Passive Range of Motion: Passive Range of Motion or PROMs are used to help keep joints in the upper and lower extremities mobile. When people are bed bound or immobile and unable to move, caregivers can perform PROMs for the individual to help keep joints mobile and prevent muscle contractures.
